The Western Orthodox University wishes it to be publicly known that it has no relationship whatsoever with an online institution called “Yahweh Hills University”. This entity claims to be incorporated in South Africa but according to our investigation is not authorized as a university by the South African government and appears to be operating in violation of the Higher Education Act 1997.

A report has been received that this entity has offered honorary degrees of the Western Orthodox University to members of the public for a fee. This activity is entirely unauthorized and the Western Orthodox University disclaims any responsibility for such bogus representations made without its knowledge or consent.

Degrees from this entity will not be accepted by the Western Orthodox University because there is no evidence available to us that this entity has the necessary legal powers to confer any academic award.
