Dr James Miller has extensive experience in teaching Biblical Studies within churches and educational institutions. His work crosses both the Christian and Messianic Jewish scholarly traditions. He was educated at California Pacific School of Theology, where he graduated PhD, MA and BA in Religion. He holds a further BS degree in Biblical Languages from Life Bible College, California.
Dr Miller has served in past ministerial positions in the Assemblies of God, the Beth El Shaddai Messianic Fellowship (under the Southern Baptist Association), the Foursquare Church International (through Cathedral of Life Church, Torrance, California), and the Beit Elohim Church Fellowship.
His past teaching experience includes professorships at the Calvary Chapel School of Theology, California, the Korean Christian Universities, California, and Pacific International University, California, where he served as Dean of Mission of Life School of Theology and as President of Shomer Yisrael School of Theology (Branch).
He has particular academic interests in Messianic Judaism, Old and New Testament studies and in pastoral training. He has taught college courses including Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, Proverbs, Book of Esther, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Minor Prophets, Harmony of the Gospels (Chronological Order- Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), Gospel of Luke, Acts, Romans Part I & II, Galatians I and II, Corinthians, Colossians, Pastoral Epistles, Hebrews, Book of James, Revelation, Bibliology, Messianic Judaism Part I & II, Doctrine of the Scriptures, Leadership, Church History, Principles and Practices of Prayer, Introduction to New Testament Greek Greek I and Greek II.
